Most people do not know how to take notes, even though we have been taking notes most of our lives. Most educators do not teach students how to take notes for they do not know how to take notes effectively themselves, for they have never been taught themselves. This course presents an effective note taking strategy, a hybrid of 3 well known note taking strategies. There are over 100 scenarios to stimulate student thinking, including 16 mini lectures to practice the note taking strategy.
A note taking certificate is available from ILDS at the successful completion of the on line evaluation. A paper copy of this course will soon be available for purchase in bookstores. No certificate can be earned without taking the online quiz.
